QuoteCrunch is being built for careful construction quote review. The safest beta workflow is simple: use documents you are allowed to share, review the output yourself, and keep final bid judgment with the estimator.
Safe documents to test with
Use synthetic, public, redacted, or permission-cleared quote documents whenever possible. If a document is controlled by an employer, customer, project owner, agency, vendor, or subcontractor, only upload it when you are authorized to use it with an outside software service.
Estimator control
QuoteCrunch is designed as review support, not a bid autopilot. It organizes review items and questions, but users should verify results against the source quote, plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Practical upload rule
If you would not send a document to an outside software tool by email, do not upload it here. When in doubt, use a redacted or synthetic version for beta feedback.
Beta transparency
This is an early product, so the workflow may change as feedback comes in. The goal is to make quote review clearer and easier to check, without pretending the software can replace professional judgment.
